5th Annual Rocky Mountain Dance Theatre's "Wild West Spectacular the Musical" at the Downtown Theatre in Cody, Wyoming

See the west come alive at the historic downtown Cody Theatre; a night of entertainment that the whole family will enjoy. Awarded “Best Wild West Show”, Wild West Spectacular is a historically based, comedic LIVE musical about Buffalo Bill and his Wild West Show. This full length original production features Buffalo Bill Cody, our town’s namesake; along with other famous colorful characters from the Wild West. To top off this unique experience; during intermission audience members can interact with the cast in character and belly up to the stage bar for a sarsaparilla!

Tickets are available online at www.codywildwestshow.com, the Cody Trolley ticket booth or at the door. We encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance due to continued possible occupancy restrictions. Tour buses and large groups still welcome!

Ticket Prices: Adults $20.00, Kids $12.00 (6-12) and kids 5 & under get in free.

Show Dates & Times: July 1-5 (2:00 pm) & July 8-August 7 (Wednesday-Saturdays at 7:30 pm). Doors open 30 minutes to start.

Annual Buffalo Bill Camp Summer Activites in Cody, Wyoming

Camp Buffalo Bill lies in the Shoshone National Forest and has provided a quality summer camp experience for members of the Boy Scouts of America from Wyoming and across the country since 1949. 

Unfortunately, this year the Scouts BSA Summer Camp has been cancelled but we are still operating our Yellowstone High Adventure Outpost, Cub Family Camp, Basecamping and the Yellowstone Angler’s Basecamp.

The incredible Wapiti Valley between the North Absaroka and Washakie Wilderness areas provides a setting where beauty and wildlife abound. 

This was the playground for William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody and now it’s ours to share with you. 

Location:  Camp Buffalo Bill is located 43 miles west of Cody, Wyoming on US Highway 14/16/20 and just seven miles east of Yellowstone National Park along the banks of the Shoshone River

In the grand tradition of parties, the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave will host the annual Buffalo Bill Birthday Bash with special activities from noon to 4 pm Sing Happy Birthday, eat cake, make crafts and maybe even learn a thing or two on this very festive FREE day.

William “Kevin” Cody (2 x Great Grandson of Buffalo Bill), International Cody Family Association (ICFA) VP & Chair of the Cody Family Reunion Committee is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a revival of our Florida Circle in Sarasota & Frostproof on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from February 28 to March 1, 2020.

Late February is a prime time of the year to visit Florida. The weather is beautiful and the flowers are starting to blossom. Our Florida Circle Reunion will be short but sweet, so we invite you to come early and stay late to enjoy the many wonders and attractions that Florida has to offer. In honor and memory of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody, the Cody High School (FFA) Future Farmers of America chapter hosts its annual wreath-laying ceremony.

This traditional 30 minute ceremony will once again be held at Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney’s sculpture, "Buffalo Bill - The Scout" on Monday, February 26th at 11 a.m.

Annual Buffalo Bill Birthday Ball at the Cody Auditorium in Cody, Wyoming

The Buffalo Bill Birthday Ball, a charity event organized by the Knights of Columbus, takes place on February 22nd for dancing, dinner, live & silent auctions and turn-of-the-century dress at the ball. The council's major fundraiser, the Buffalo Bill Birthday Ball is a rip-snorting cowboy extravaganza of music, dancing, prime rib dinner, gun raffle, silent and live auctions, and Wild West entertainment to which the entire adult community is invited.  The event is held annually on the Saturday nearest Col. Wm. F. Cody's birthday (February 26), declared "Buffalo Bill Day" by official proclamation of the Cody City Council.  The Cody Auditorium rocks during the Buffalo Bill Birthday Ball.  Earlier in the week, members of Council 4031 will have converted the Cody Auditorium into Wolfville Hall, the dancing and gambling establishment that hosted the town's biggest events in the days when Buffalo Bill walked our streets.  Net proceeds from the Ball benefit local charities and service programs such as the Cody CupboardMeals on Wheels, Needy Kids Fund, Bright Futures Mentoring ProgramHeart Mountain Volunteer Medical ClinicCrisis Intervention Services, and Serenity Pregnancy Resource Center, as well as local families, regardless of faith or membership in the Knights of Columbus, experiencing special needs due to uninsured medical expenses, house fires, or other emergencies, and more.  Doors open 5:00 pm.  Prime rib dinner 6:00 pm.  Live music & dancing follow dinner.  Location:  Cody Auditorium, 1240 Beck Ave, Cody, WY 82414. Tickets are $40 per person in advance or $45 per person at the door.  For tickets and/or more information, please contact John Robb:  (307) 527-6732.

5th Annual Buffalo Bill Cody Days at the Oracle Inn Steakhouse & Lounge in Oracle, Arizona

The Buffalo Bill Cody Days in Oracle, AZ honors the world Famous "Buffalo Bill" Cody, who Helped Oracle, Arizona grow and become what it is today. “Buffalo Bill” Cody owned several mines at Campo Bonito in the Santa Catalina Mountains, near Oracle, during the last decades of his life. Cody would spend many winters in Oracle managing his mines which produced tungsten, silver & gold.

On Saturday, February 22, from 1-5 pm, there will be a free magic show for the kids by Ross the Magician and Don Larry speaks about "Cody As Senator." There will also be Native American jewelry sales & displays, book talks and free Buffalo Bill Cody birthday cake. On Sunday, February 23, from 1-5 pm, Robert Zucker will talk about the legends and history of the Santa Catalina Mountains, Cody and his mines and Oracle's unique history. We will also pay tribute to William “Flint” Carter, Cody Days founder, who passed away in December of 2018. Carter spent over four decades prospecting the Santa Catalina Mountains and held over 100 mining claims in the mountains.
