Make plans to head to the Overland Trail Museum on either Tuesday, Aug. 7 or Thursday, Aug. 9, for a rip-roarin', rootin' tootin' good time during the upcoming "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Jamboree" children's program!  This fun, interactive and informative event will introduce participants to that famous western scout, Buffalo Bill Cody, his popular show, Buffalo Bill's Wild West, and some equally famous members of that show:  the legendary Annie Oakley and the renowned leader of the Lakota Sioux, Sitting Bull.  The American Bison will also be highlighted while the kids will learn all about how Buffalo Bill got his nickname.

Buffalo Bill's Pony Express Relay, the Annie Oakley Shooting Gallery, Thomas Edison's Old-Fashioned Movie Theater, Sitting Bull's Bison Hunt Challenge and Wild Bill Hickok's Squirt Gun Shootout are just a few of the featured activities scheduled for this fast-paced event.  This program is designed for children ages 5-12 and the regular admission of $1.50 per child does apply, while the admission is $3 for any parents or guardians who would like to attend.
