34th Annual Buffalo Bill Days, City Wide in Lanesboro, Minnesota

34th Annual Buffalo Bill Days celebration.

Why is it called Buffalo Bill Days? In 1900, the first of Buffalo Bill Cody's world-famous Wild West Shows were performed in Lanesboro, Minnesota, comprised of 6 Indians (2 Indian maidens), 2 white men (Buffalo Bill and White Beaver) and a Mr. Man.

The three day festival features golf, softball & volleyball tournaments, plays at the Commonwealth Theatre, beer and brat tents, barbecue chicken, live music, bingo, baggo, dancing, karaoke and, of course, an Old West Show.

Saturday night features Fireworks off the bluffs, and Sunday afternoon is the grand parade for the whole family.
