Annual Summer Camp at the Buffalo Bill Camp in Cody, Wyoming

The Greater Wyoming Council would like to welcome you to Camp Buffalo Bill.  We are busy preparing the camp for your arrival.

Camp Buffalo Bill lies in the Shoshone National Forest and has provided a quality summer camp experience for members of the Boy Scouts of America from Wyoming and across the country since 1949.  We are proud to continue this tradition by offering a full summer camp program and specialty high adventure experiences for scouts and our camp facilities for off-season public use.

The incredible Wapiti Valley between the North Absaroka and Washakie Wilderness areas provides a setting where beauty and wildlife abound.  This was the playground for William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody and now it’s ours to share with you.  There are 8 one week summer camp sessions to choose from:  Week 0 (High Adventure Only), Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4, Week 5, Week 6 (LDS Only) and Week 7 (High Adventure Only).

Location:  Camp Buffalo Bill is located 43 miles west of Cody, Wyoming on US Highway 14/16/20 and just seven miles east of Yellowstone National Park along the banks of the Shoshone River.
